For Christmas, I went back to my hometown Rennes to spend some time with my family and I took this opportunity to walk around the streets of the old town and especially the Chapitre street with its timbered Middle Ages houses which are rickety but charming 🙂 Today, I wanted to talk to you about a brand I discovered on London Old Spitafields market: The Curious Yak. The Curious Yak was founded by two sisters around two years ago after a trip to Nepal during which they made a life-changing encounter. Going back to the UK they decided to start their business selling woollen scarves manufactured over there with the help of their nepalese contact. I am especially sensitive to the fact that they are following a sustainable mindset by supporting local artisans. On top of that, their scarves are really warm! It’s very simple, I have been wearing mine everyday ever since I bought it 🙂
For this casual look, I am also wearing a top from Kookaï, a pair of jeans from Gap Petite (worth mentioning that it is one of the first time I didn’t need to make a hem) and finally my Poupée Rousse earrings which I got for Christmas 🙂 On these pictures, I am in front of the old Auberge du Chapitre which is really typical from this area of the town.
