As promised, here are my favorite accessory discoveries from London Fashion Weekend 🙂 Check below to find out more about Alfie Douglas, Estella Bartlett and Finlay & Co. I hope you will enjoy discovering these brands 🙂 By the way, did you know some of them already?
A couple of months ago, I came across Alfie Douglas bags while browsing the internet and I was therefore delighted to see them in real at the LFWend 🙂 This British brand is a family business, everyone from the parents to the daughters is involved in the adventure whether it is the design, the production or the promotion of the brand. On the day, the mother and father were actually presenting the backpacks of the new collection 🙂 I love their minimalistic and stylish designs as well as the quality of their products which are made in the UK (here is an interesting video showing the making process of a bag). I am really tempted to treat myself with their Alfie One mini cross-body or their Alfie Two backpack 🙂 Check out their website to know more about them and discover their new collection available to pre-order.
Estella Bartlett is a young British costume jewellery brand that was created by a brother and sister. Their pretty and affordable pieces range from necklaces, rings and earrings to bracelets and are made from silver or gold plated metal. I actually bought a bracelet and a necklace from them 🙂 Great surprise: I have quite a thin wrist and usually bangles are huge for me and tend to fall off. The one I bought is the perfect size but can also be adjusted to fit stronger frames. I will show it to you in a future outfit post! I really love the delicateness of their designs and especially of the little pendants or charms that you have on their necklaces and bracelets. Worth mentioning that this cuteness transpires through the packaging as well 🙂
FINLAY & CO.
This British brand was founded three years ago by four guys who were bored of the usual sunglasses and then decided to go off and start their own eyewear line using an usual material: wood. They have used the 50’s iconic glasses designs as a source of inspiration and managed to completely rejuvenate them. I was struck by the sleekness of their designs as well as the softness and lightness of the wooden frames. I really like their classic Ledbury frame and its playful declinations with multi layered frames or colourful mirror lenses which you can see in my pictures below. Check Finlay & Co.website to see more of their designs.
Have a nice day!
