I recently did a short business trip to Geneva and I took this opportunity to wander around the lake after my daily duties 🙂 and try some nice food. As the night has already fallen when I finished, I had the chance to discover the city by night! I randomly passed by the Place du Molard with its lighted paving stones showing welcoming messages. That was really beautiful 🙂 After a little walk along the Promenade du Lac, I ended up in Rue du Lac to have dinner at L’Esquisse. I had already tried this restaurant a couple of months ago during my hen weekend and really like the food 🙂 So I decided to pay it a visit again with the idea of sharing this address with you! During my first visit, I really liked the melted tomme vaudoise with truffles which was the starter of the day. I was lucky that they were serving it again on that day 🙂 As I was not very hungry, I went straight for dessert : a glass filled of red berries, pieces of meringue and double cream… Yummy! I love the fact that they use fresh ingredients and serve a contemporary cuisine in a setting which reminds me of these parisians bistrots where artists were meeting up in the 19th century. Here, a couple of pictures from the photographer Marc Ninghetto are decorating the walls and an allusion for the art amateurs indicates the restrooms (you might notice it on the pictures :)). I hope this made you want to try it!
