Before Christmas, I took the opportunity of a weekend in Paris to check out two independent designers fairs: Hôtel Bohème and Etsy. I love going to these sorts of events as it is always a great opportunity to discover new talents. For this time, I wanted to share with you my favourites from the Etsy fair and will also do something similar for Hôtel Bohème in the upcoming weeks.
KIDS STUFF (BUT FOR GROWN-UPS TOO ;))
I developed a huge crush for Big Stuffed plush animals when I discovered them on Sarah’s blog. On top of that, they are even more beautiful in real and so soft 🙂
Amandine, the designer of Popetse Toys, inspires herself from various tales and movies to create her cute plush toys.
Virve, a Finish girl that is expatriated in France, created Petit Helsinki to share a little bit of her native country. I really like the geometry of these traditional finish ornaments which are really pretty on a Christmas tree or can simply be used to decorate the house (I personally hang himmelis to door handles :)).
Lili Aime le Nougat
I had been following Lise’s blog before and her funny drawings on the couple and kids. Here, she was exposing her cute animal illustrations and little stationary accessories; and I even bought a little card for Mister 🙂 On her online store, she offers a few personalised products like inked stamps or posters if you want to do a more personal gift.
JEWELLERY AND ACCESSORIES
I had already spotted Lucie‘s cute little balloon brooches on Julie’s blog and I got to discover here her beautiful pouches and necklaces in coloured leather. During my weekend in Nantes a few weeks ago, I went to see her at her workshop and will tell you more about it soon.
Une Fille dans les Etoiles
Une Fille dans les Etoiles is one of my favourite discoveries in that fair! I am a real fan of her beautiful pouches and card holders of which I love the fabrics! On top of that, these are coming from all over the world and each have their own story!
I really like the super colourful creations of Cécile, Toucan Bleu designer, and especially her little stackable bracelets as well as her leather and textile necklaces that you can see below.
Empreintes d’Apesanteur by Floriane Leblong
The creations of Floriane are also a lovely discovery from this fair. I had a crush on the elegance of her minimalist jewels made of resin with little touches of copper.
I am a huge fan of embroidered clothes and accessories, so I could only stop to admire the jewels, brooches and hair accessoires of En Avril which are hand embroidered by the designer! I leave you to discover the pictures.
I had already spotted the brushed and oxidised silver jewels of ag.Jc. I like their delicacy and simplicity.
During that fair, I also discovered the leather pouches of Mallow which are hand-painted by the designer. I appreciate as well the fact that she tries to use responsible materials as much as possible to make her creations.
There were lots of others little brands and independent designers which I haven’t presented to you, including the cute tea bags of Tea Heritage and the beautiful silk scarves from Céline Dominiak. I give you the link to the Etsy selection for you to explore it! Follow me on Facebook and Instagram to discover more about my little world!
Have a nice day!
